To promote the 36th RESER International Conference which will take place in Brasilia, the Federal University of Sergipe has organised an event Pré-RESER 2026 UFS, on April 9, 2026, at 15:00 AM
This event was primarily aimed at the Brazilian public to promote RESER in Brazil. For this reason, the event was conducted primarily in Portuguese. But, for European researchers and Reser members, it was a pleasure to meet our Brazilian colleagues and to follow their analysis of Services activities in Brazil
Lars Fulgsang, President of RESER, pointed out that this would be the first time since the network’s inception that the annual conference would be held outside Europe. Marie Christine Monnoyer, one of the honorary presidents, highlighted the long-standing ties that RESER maintains with Brazil. Many PhD students have been supervised jointly by a Brazilian and a French professor. Céline Merlin Brogniard, RESER’s secretary, highlighted the efforts made by all the organisers to ensure that the scientific focus of this conference meets the expectations of the researchers and PhD students involved in preparing their papers
