Small research grant

Description

In 2013, the RESER Board wanted to facilitate collaborative research between several RESER teams ( at least two ). The Reser small grant was designed to support research initiatives that include different research environments.  These applications can also have the character of seed money for larger teams. The  grant can range from 2000 to 5000 euros, depending on the number of teams and the size of the project.

 

Applications in electronic form should be sent to the RESER Secretary and discussed by the Reser council. Applicants should state: 

  • The reasons for their application (short summary, no more than one page).
  • The type of application and a proposed timetable.
  • Proposed budget with detailed eligible costs.
  • Where relevant, provide details of any other possible sources of finance that have already been explored to obtain funding for this activity.
  • Name of the institution, department, etc…, of the principal applicant and other participating members
  • Title of the proposed research project or research network.
  • Expected results of the Grant and possible benefits to the participants and RESER.

If a PHD, or post doc student, is involved in the project and stay for a while in one of a Reser team, the PhD student mobility grant, and the small research grant are available.
