The School of Business, Economics and Law, department of Business Administration, Gothenburg is looking for a qualified and motivated individual for one doctoral studentship in economic geography.

The research in economic geography at Gothenburg University is particularly oriented towards geographical aspects of International business (for example foreign trade, international direct investments and technology- and knowledge transfer) and regional economic transformation and structural change (for example changes in regional specialization patterns and labour market mobility). The PhD student will be affiliated to one of our research centres: CIBS (Centre for International Business Studies), or CRA (Centre for Regional Analysis). Current research in economic geography in Gothenburg is employing quantitative methods and large datasets, as well as case study methodology.
